Because now that it’s done
My inhaler has a purpose
I’ve stopped running and decided to pace the next lap
Step by step
On my own
Without everyone
Just me and the lion inside me
Clawing it’s way into my heart
No matter how little it is
Jump start my exit at 0:50
Rocking back and forth as the bounds of mass and metal clang in rhythmic patterns
As sirens call me out to sea, to walk on water, and to find an underwater cemetery on excursion
I can’t help but to notice that all around me is blue
And these dark walls of water wash over and aside me
Scrubbing the feeling you left off of me
I don’t know why, but it is a satisfying feeling…
Breathing on your own
———————————————————
It is something I haven’t done in a while
And now
I have no safety net
I have everywhere to go
And I’m going fast
Scramble while you can
‘Cause you won’t make it
Swallow all of your words
‘Cause you can take it
Wear your heart on your sleeve
‘Cause I’ma break it
I just kind of want to tell everyone to screw themselves.
Just a thought.
If I could, I’d break away from home
And distance myself in lithium chrome
Where the red shines brighter
And faster
And hotter
And if you’re looking for the best
Better bet that I shot her
The hand was a winner with aces in the deck
But being a champion is like the brightest speck
Because in these columns and forums that hold me
A universe explodes in the sky, a galaxy
Yeah, I feel like I already graduated
Maybe not strongest or the most educated
But because everyone tells me I’m special
That I’m a one of a kind snowflake, a golden utensil
In the cabinet of the world to be used and disposed of
To experience life, and loss, to find truth and love
But let’s be honest about the damnable society
And how humanity doesn’t mix with propriety
If I’m so special and absolutely amazing
Then why do I spend my just gazing
I should be as big, hell, if not bigger
I’m actually alive, but hey, go figure
I’m just a life, another one in the sea
Small is my life, insignificant as can be
Because I’ve got your hand in mine
And new lands in mind
And certainly some day over time
I’ll command and I’ll conquer over the line
And I’ll charge the field on elephants
You make me realize
That I am not right
—————————-
And it’s when I’m wrong
That I find a way along
—————————-
Dine in, take out
It’s all about
To change
—————————-
Sit down, stand up
You win the cup
At range
—————————-
Why do you look so strange?
—————————-
I’m tearing myself
I am tearing myself
I am tearing myself
Away
——————————
You’re contradicting yourself
You’re contradicting yourself
You’re contradicting yourself
Today
——————————-
Maybe when I can see
The world will finally
Revolve around me
——————————-
Content to be
Just turned eighteen
But take a knee
——————————-
You’re still early
Too young for me
Go back to sleep
——————————-
My varsity blues are
Dripping on you and
They stain
——————————-
My greedy grin
Is all for sin
And I’m not tame
——————————-
Breaking off my chain
——————————-
I’m tearing myself
I am tearing myself
I am tearing myself
Away
——————————
You’re contradicting yourself
You’re contradicting yourself
You’re contradicting yourself
Today
——————————-
You’re looking fine
In cheap satin twine
Revolt tonight
——————————-
Let’s paint you down
And break new ground
And muffle the sound
——————————-
Got a Bradbury in my head
But an Orwell comes out instead
——————————-
I’ll burn us alive
If you let me survive
